BLENDS - MOULDED PRODUCTS

Below we present the range of basic blends which we use in our production using the moulding technique.

  1. ACM - Polyacrylic rubber
    Polyacrylic rubber
    • Hardness:  50 Shore A to 90 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -40 °C to +150 °C
    • Good compression properties
    • Very good resistance to: mineral oils, additives and greases, ozone, ageing and weathering
    • Areas of application:  Mainly used in car and engine construction for cylinder head and oil sump seals, oil hoses and turbocharger hoses.
  2. CR - Chloroprene rubber
    Chloroprene rubber
    • Hardness: 20 Shore A to 95 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -50 °C to +130 °C
    • Excellent resistance to: ozone, ageing and weathering
    • Very good resistance to: hot water, superheated steam, acids, alkalis and glycol-based hydraulic fluids
    • Low compression even at high temperatures.
    • Areas of application: seals for windows and doors, hoses for washing machines, dishwashers and water fittings, insulation and cable sheathing, applications in the drinking water sector, sealing and control applications.
  3. EPDM - Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber
    Ethylene propylene diene rubber
    • Hardness: 20 Shore A to 95 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -50 °C to +130 °C
    • Excellent resistance to: ozone, ageing and weathering
    • Very good resistance to: hot water, superheated steam, acids, alkalis and glycol-based hydraulic fluids
    • Low compression even at high temperatures.
    • Areas of application: seals for windows and doors, hoses for washing machines, dishwashers and water fittings, insulation and cable sheathing, applications in the drinking water sector, sealing and control applications.
  4. FFKM - Perfluorocarbon rubber
    Perfluorocarbon rubber
    • Hardness: 75 Shore A to 85 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -5 °C to +320 °C
    • High stability against aggressive media.
    • Reliable in static and dynamic applications.
    • Areas of application: Sealing elements made of FFKM achieve the almost universal chemical resistance of PTFE without losing the typical sealing, restoring (compression deformation) and creep resistance properties of rubber.
  5. FKM - Fluorocarbon rubber
    Fluorocarbon rubber
    • Hardness: 50 Shore A to 90 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature:  -30 °C to +220 °C
    • Very good temperature resistance.
    • Excellent resistance to: ozone, ageing and weathering
    • High gas tightness.
    • High chemical resistance to: minerals, oils, fats and non-polar media
    • Areas of application: Corrugated seals, O-rings, pipe applications, petroleum industry
  1. FVMQ - Fluorosilicone
    Polyacrylic rubber
    • Hardness: 40 Shore A to 80 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -65 °C to +200 °C
    • Very good thermal resistance.
    • Very good cold flexibility.
    • Excellent resistance to: ozone, ageing and weathering
    • Good resistance to: oils and hydraulic fluids
    • Areas of application: Special seals for the automotive and aerospace industries in contact with fuel, where excellent low temperature properties are also important.
  2. HNBR - Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber
    Hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber
    • Hardness: 50 Shore A to 95 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -30 °C to +150 °C
    • High tear resistance.
    • Very good abrasive properties.
    • Resistance to: mineral oils, fuels and oxidising agents
    • Very good resistance to: ozone, ageing and weathering (especially fully hydrogenated types)
    • Areas of application: Among others, in various dynamic and static products that are subjected to dynamic and abrasive loads under the influence of heat and media. In addition to hoses and ​​belts, industrial seals for oilfield exploration and processing and rolls for steel and paper mills.
  3. NBR - Nitrile rubber
    Nitrile rubber
    • Hardness: 20 Shore A to 75 Shore D
    • Min./Max. temperature: -30 °C to +110 °C
    • Very good abrasive properties.
    • Good resistance to: oils and fuels
    • High strength (depending on filler), similar to natural rubber.
    • Areas of application: Among others, oil and fuel seals, diaphragms, hoses, conveyor belts, rubber-metal connections, K&K composite parts and friction linings.
  4. SBR - Styrene Butadiene Rubber
    Styrene butadiene rubber
    • Hardness: 20 Shore A to 70 Shore D
    • Min./Max. temperature:  -45 °C to +90 °C
    • Resistant to: water, alcohols, glycols, diluted weak acids and alkalis
    • Very good abrasive properties.
    • Additional properties: high strength, flexibility, resistance to tear propagation, ageing and heat resistance
    • Application areas: tyre industry, shoe soles, cable sheaths, gaskets, hoses, roller sheaths, conveyor belts, floor coverings
  5. VMQ - Silicone rubber
    Silicone rubber
    • Hardness: 20 Shore A to 90 Shore A
    • Min./Max. temperature: -50 °C to +220 °C
    • High heat resistance.
    • High resistance to: ozone, ageing and weathering
    • Resistance to: mineral oils (not aromatic), dilute acids and bases, alcohols and ketones
    • Areas of application: valves in the food industry, seals for espresso machines, transport hoses, shock absorbers, diaphragms, rollers
