Poggio Antico - Madre skus_30279466 This blend of 85% MerlotThe Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon were vinified and then aged separately in 500L French Tonneaux for 18 months. The varieties were blended prior to bottling, and then further aged another 4 months to achieve coherence and harmony. This expression has lots of strawberry, ripe raspberries, pomegranate and goji berry flavors. A versatile wine, this is the perfect accompaniment for grilled asparagus, salmon , spring vegetables, and goat cheese.
