I always suspected that the Lazy Ike was designed to duplicate the action of the Flatfish, but it never could quite match the success of the Flatfish

You dont want to use too big of inline hooks because they can wrap around the line during casts or catch on the lure itself (which will cost you a fish if they strike and dont get hooked!) Great video on utilizing those lure types, unfortunately I have to disagree with you on only using those lures in fall and winter

Because of the placement of the hook, you can cast the bait away from the boat as theres less chance of the hook ripping out
